Who is processing my information?

The site is run by Cagla G. Cantimur who is the data controller, Designer, Founder, Owner of Hidden Botanics: Wedding flowers & Design in respect of any personal data processed by you.

 

What information do we collect from you?

We collect data that you directly provide to us:

  • when you register and make a purchase through the site;
  • when you send us a question or query;
  • when you sign up to the newsletter;
  • if you ask for a stock alert.

This data includes name and contact details. We also retain details regarding your purchase (item, when sold etc.) and any queries or complaints you raise. We don't have access to your payment and card details since these are held by the payment service providers.

We collect data when you use the site, including data about:

  • your computer's browser version, Please note that we do not link the IP addresses to any user account;

Why do we collect this information?

Most of the data we collect is in order to enable us to process your order or respond to your queries. We also collect data in order to understand more about who uses our site and to understand your preferences and to personalise the shopping and browsing experience. We may also use information in order to send you marketing communications but only on the basis set out below. We may also use data in order to investigate any complaints.



We do not provide your data to third parties to enable them to send you marketing communications unless you have consented to do so. You can use such third party's unsubscribe mechanisms to unsubscribe from them.

 

Who do we share your information with?

  • Shopify: When you browse the site, the platform provider, Shopify, automatically receives your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide them with information that helps them learn about your browser and operating system; this helps them to continually optimise the shopping experience for you.   • Payment gateways and providers: This is in order to process your payment for your purchases. They have their own privacy policies which detail how they will process your information.

You should only click to agree this privacy policy if you are age 16 or over. You will need the consent of the card holder to make any purchases.

 

How long do we keep your information?

We will keep data only for as long as it is relevant and useful for the purpose for which it was originally collected and otherwise where required by law or in order to defend or bring any legal action.

To protect your personal information, we follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed. Whilst we will do our best to protect your data, the transmission of information by you to us is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your data.

Does the site use cookies?

Yes. Here is a list of cookies used by this site. All cookies are used only to enable us and Shopify to continually better your shopping experience:
_session_id, unique token, sessional: This allows Shopify to store information about your session (referrer, landing page, etc).
_shopify_visit, no data held, Persistent for 30 minutes from the last visit: Used by this site's internal stats tracker to record the number of visits.
_shopify_uniq, no data held, expires midnight (relative to the visitor) of the next day: Counts the number of visits to the store by a single customer.
- cart, unique token, persistent for 2 weeks: Stores information about the contents of your cart.
_secure_session_id, unique token, sessional
storefront_digest, unique token, indefinite: This is used to determine if the current visitor has access.
In addition, Google analytics PREF, persistent for a very short period is set by Google and tracks who visits the site and from where.
